About you 

This is an entry level sales role. We are looking for motivated individuals who are looking to grow a career in sales and have a passion for improving the airport experience for operators and millions of passengers. We take pride in growing our Commercial Team from within. In the SDR function you will work with exceptional sellers to learn and hone your skills as a seller and have the chance to travel the country and possibly globally in your first year. 

 

AeroCloud operates as a hybrid B2B, Global team. We connect airport operators and passengers to better data and technology. Because we believe in the value of face to face relationships, we provide significant vacation and award travel time back to our team members. 

Requirements

Summary of Role

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our Commercial team to be the primary revenue driver for the company; growing our network of airports and airport partners, and taking our innovations to market. This role will be instrumental in driving top-of-funnel opportunities for the commercial team across the United States and globally.   

In 2023 we built relationships at a number of exciting domestic and global locations including trips to New Orleans, Nashville, Miami, Long Beach, Denver and we stamped our passports in England, Ireland, Germany and France as well!!! 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Connect with Airport IT and Operations Teams daily, through a strategic mix of outbound calls, emails, social posts and in person events.  
  • Describe the company, the technology, and the use cases that make smart technology at airports a reality. 
  • Book 5-7 Discovery and Introductory meetings weekly for your teammates (each SDR teams up with a Commercial Manager to create a close-knit sales unit) 
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Product teams to provide customer feedback across internal teams

What Are We Looking For?

  • BA/BS degree and/or equivalent work experience 
  • 0-1 years experience working in a SDR role at a SaaS company 
  • Have a passion for pursuing a career in SAAS Platform Sales 
  • Proficiency working with HubSpot CRM is a plus 
  • Familiarity with SAAS platforms including Okta, Salesforce, HubSpot, and more 
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to describe complex concepts in simple, easy to   understand terms 
  • Love the idea of working in a small company and getting the right stuff done 
  • Love data and measurement and be excited about achieving individual and team goals 
  • Be naturally optimistic and have the mental toughness to deal with objections
