Plivo is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team for the India region. As a SDR you will help drive Plivo's growth using outbound sales effort with a focus on generating qualified leads through multiple outreach channels like emails, phone calls and inmails.
Roles and responsibilities
- Own a set of named accounts and execute campaigns to achieve associated pipeline- creation metrics.
- Create target prospects lists for key accounts. Research key contacts, leads and decision makers within the accounts and work on lead nurturing and building relationships that help you create opportunities.
- Responsible for generating initial meetings for the Sales Team by reaching out to prospective companies via cold emails, social outreach and/or phone calls.
- Ensure successful follow through of the outbound cadence cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information within the CRM.
- Work on nurturing the leads generated from various Marketing campaigns and take them through the cycle of qualification to transfer to the Sales teams at Plivo.
- Develop understanding of Plivo's offerings and articulate Plivo's business value proposition to decision makers in global companies to assess buying interest.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of Lead Generation and Business Development experience with technology company.
- Comfortable with Cold calls and Emails, and engaging with a global target audience across time zones.
- Expertise with sales tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Datafox, Apollo, Lucia etc.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Adaptable, professional, courteous, motivated with a strong work ethic.
- Work in a highly demanding and competitive environment.
- Has shown demonstrable ownership of accounts and over-achievement of pipeline creation targets in previous stints.
