We are seeking a Sales Development Representative who thrives in a flexible and diverse environment to accelerate the success we are achieving. As an Inbound Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for initiating new sales opportunities, focused on making first contact, generating interest and qualifying leads provided to you daily by our Marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Prioritize daily leads and action quickly in a professional manner.
- Utilize conversation to understand prospects technical requirements and business processes.
- High volume prospecting for new business opportunities: utilize cold calling, digital and online prospecting techniques.
- Demonstrate results in solutions-based selling process and handling common objections with ease.
- Drive additional revenue opportunities by applying incremental programs or projects initiated by sales management.
- Set qualified appointments for the appropriate sales representative driving new pipeline and sales opportunities.
- Metrics of success: Monthly KPI’s set around setting qualified meetings, new SDR sourced opportunities, and closed won business.
- Manage a database of leads, contacts, and target accounts in Salesforce.
- Ensure critical data points are enriched for analysis of account management performance (annual revenue, total employees, SIC code and description).
- Efficiently process all opportunities, tracking, reporting and maintaining them until they are established in the sales pipeline.
Key Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent and 1 year of prior lead generation / business development / inside sales / account management.
- Successful quota or KPI/KSO attainment with a demonstrated track record of success.
- Experience handling inbound phone calls and other inquiries.
- Previous experience making high volume outbound calls.
- Sales experience in SaaS- renewals or subscription sales model, experience using Salesforce.
- Sound business acumen and previous experience accurately forecasting and reporting on territory /account activity.
- Ability to work independently and also in a structured, disciplined sales environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Positive and energetic.
