This role is defined as Sales Development Representative for an incubation product recently brought to the market. This product is complex, and you’ll be a primary point of contact for this product. You’ll actively connect and engage with customers, utilizing a consultative approach to identify their needs. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our company by identifying and qualifying potential customers. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining a pipeline of leads through various outbound sales strategies. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and energetic individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for sales. If this is something that appeals to your ambition, preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience selling into complex fields like engineering, manufacturing, chemical processing, geospatial, operations research, architecture, or logistics. Responsibilities:

Lead Generation:
- Proactively identify and qualify potential customers through outbound prospecting efforts, including cold calling, email campaigns, and social media outreach.
- Research and analyze target industries and markets to identify key decision-makers and potential opportunities.

Prospect Outreach:
- Initiate contact with potential customers to create interest in our products/services.
- Conduct engaging and informative conversations to understand prospects' needs and qualify them as potential opportunities.

Pipeline Management:
- Manage and prioritize leads to ensure a consistent and healthy pipeline.
- Utilize CRM software to track and document lead interactions and update lead status.

Collaborate with the Sales Team:
- Work closely with the sales team to hand off qualified leads and provide necessary background information.
- Communicate effectively with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of leads from prospecting to closing.

Market Research:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer needs.
- Provide valuable insights to the sales and marketing teams based on prospect feedback and market intelligence.

Meeting and Exceeding Targets:
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual lead generation targets.
- Continuously refine and optimize outbound sales strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with potential customers.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing the company in a professional and positive manner.

Required Qualifications / Experiences:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a sales or business development role.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales processes.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving and exceeding targets.
