As a Sales Development Intern, you’ll play a key role in expanding Precoa’s outreach efforts, transforming an established program into something even more impactful!

What you’ll do (and why you’ll love doing it)

Precoa is the nation’s leading preneed sales and marketing company, dedicated to helping families plan for their future with care and compassion.

 

This isn’t just about making calls—it’s about creating real change. Your efforts will help families learn about preplanning in a way that’s engaging, educational, and truly valuable.

 

In this role, you’ll grow your project management skills, sales abilities and network as you:
 

  • Connect with community organizations: engage with churches, senior living facilities, veterans’ groups and civic organizations to schedule discovery meetings and establish long-term partnerships.

 

  • Drive meaningful appointments: schedule high-quality appointments for planners (about 20 dials/hour) to play a key role in helping families understand the benefits of preplanning.
     
  • Shape the future of our engagement: help refine and scale our Community Education Program by developing a streamlined process that increases efficiency and impact.

Skills you may have to make you a success!

  • Two or more years of sales experience or relevant experience required
  • Strong communication skills and confidence to engage decision-makers over the phone
  • A resilient, goal-oriented professional who delights in cold calling and follow-ups
  • Someone with a growth mindset who sees challenges as opportunities
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and ability to work efficiently in a phone-based role
