In this SDR role, you’ll be a joining a growing team of technical customer advocates, helping us to support our product-led growth motion, driving engagement within our Free and Pro Customer Accounts as well work to build out cold accounts supported by an outbound motion.

What you'll do:
- Generating quality opportunities for honeycomb sales teams through creativity and experimentation utilizing emails, phone calls, and social selling.
- Continually learning, trying new things, and working to better understand our product, our users, our industry, common industry challenges, competitive solutions and new ways to prospect.
- Effectively managing, qualify and convert inbound leads. This means managing your own inbound pipeline, and staying on top of tasks and follow-ups to ensure that no prospects fall through the cracks.
- Executing thoughtful research as part of your account planning that demonstrates a strong knowledge of the prospect’s industry, current technology stack, competition, and business goals to support effective outbound motions.
- Conducting high-level qualification and discovery conversations in strategic accounts. Be confident owning and leading a call with a prospect or group of prospects, levering MEDDPICC and Command of the Message to drive the opportunity forward.
- Partnering closely with experienced sales professionals, who are motivated to see you succeed and develop your skill set.
- Providing timely and accurate forecasts, based on evidence and not hope, and clear visibility on sales and revenue performance by actively handling your pipeline of conversations and opportunities.

What You'll bring:
- An excitement for learning, a curiosity to understand our potential customers and a drive to help them solve their problems using honeycombs unique approach to observability.
- Superb communication and writing skills with the ability to be creative and craft engaging messaging utilizing data.
- The ability to think logically about a problem and identify multiple ways to solve it and test those hypotheses.
- Excitement to drive towards a monthly and quarterly target of quality opportunities and revenue.
- Exceptional time management skills. You’ll be asked to do a volume of calls, emails, and LI messages daily and you’ll have to successfully prioritize your time and manage expectations with your internal partners and external prospects.
- Excited by the prospect of working cross-functionally with sales and different marketing departments. You'll have exposure to different departments like Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, Engineering, etc. which will help you determine your career path at Honeycomb.
- Positive and energetic communication skills and excellent listening skills.
- A self-starter with a track record of successful, credible achievements

- Base pay is $65,000 + commission for OTE to equal $95,000.
