As a Sales cum Business Development Representative, you will develop and maintain the Middle East sales territory to reach agreed targets. As a strategic partner, you will be accountable for retaining existing accounts and expanding business in the entire Middle East market while maintaining strong and trusting partnerships with customers and with the local Doka Organisations.
In addition, you will be responsible for conducting market research, identifying and selecting new markets as well as establishing a network of formwork retailers and Used Formwork Traders. You will act as a 'broker' for our clients (wholesalers, retailers, distributors, re-renters, brokers, agents and construction companies). You will approach suitable clients and ensure an outstanding customer experience to build long-lasting relationships. You will prepare calculations and offers together with the Back Office Team in our HQ in Austria for daily business operations.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Identify potential customers, create networks, make cold calls and convert prospects into actual sales.
- Develop both new and existing accounts and expand business through face-to-face contact with the customers.
- Present proposals while selling the features and benefits of new Form-on products to close sales.
- Develop a used strategy for selling and purchasing Business and supporting the local Doka Organisation in case of BuyBacks together with the Form-on Supply Chain network.
- Accountable for all credit interactions with the customer including obtaining contractor approval of invoices, making adjustments through credit requests and ensuring prompt payment, as well as preparing and distributing monthly account status reports.
- Complete weekly sales reports accurately and on time and provide information as needed for backlog and sales projections.
- Visits clients personally or via smartVISIT (digital).
- Collaborate with the local Doka Organizations on behalf of the Dual Brand Strategy.
- Travel within the sales region and occasionally outside of the region based on client and project requirements.
- Collaborate with management to ensure company and branch sales initiatives are aligned and achieved.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience within the construction sector, preferably in trading construction or formwork supplier.
- Ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of integrity and deliver the highest standards of service to customers.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organization, follow-up and negotiation skills along with a strong numerical aptitude.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and handle all responsibilities with a strong sense of urgency.
- Individual who takes initiative, manages time effectively, and manages and adjusts priorities based on business demands.
- Excellent communication skills including an excellent command of English (speaking, reading, writing) and Arabic. German is a plus.
- Qualitative abilities including strong analytical skills, commercial proficiency and effective selling and problem-solving skills.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point).
- Willing and able to learn new computer systems, products, concepts and techniques as well as an eagerness to keep abreast of customer, industry and competitor development.
- Self-motivated, assertive team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently in a results-driven, fast-paced environment.
