Sales Coordinator

About the opportunity:

We are the internal recruitment partner for a local well established, manufacturing company within the events industry based in Peterborough.

We are presenting an exciting opportunity for a customer focused Sales Coordinator to join the team in Washingley.

As the successful Sales Coordinator, you will make a positive impact on the customer journey and experience by engaging with customers from point of enquiry through to the successful delivery; ensuring that the sales process runs as smoothly as possible for all involved, especially the client.

This role will provide you with a variety of tasks from answering and responding to customer enquiries, preparing detailed quotations, processing sales orders through to raising the final invoice.

The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with natural problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to the requirements of the role.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:

• Proven experience within a similar role would be desirable

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in preparing detailed quotations
• Highly organised with a strong attention to detail
• Be a clear and confident communicator who is comfortable with liaising with stakeholders at all levels internally & externally
• Willingness to learn
• Friendly and approachable with a can-do attitude
• Experience of posting and updating social media platforms
• Full driving licence with access to a vehicle due to office location

Benefits

In return we are offering:

• A salary from £26,000 - £29,000 dependent on skills, knowledge, and experience
• Working hours: Monday-Friday with flexibility between the hours of 9am – 5:30pm
• 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays
• Free onsite parking
