Job Objective: The offline team is trying to achieve PhonePe’s goal by onboarding every merchant across the country to accept PhonePe. We at the Sales capability team are building a sales training engine which will enable the sales team to do their job effectively.
Reporting Matrix: The role will report to Lead - Sales Capability, Rural.
Responsibilities:
Business Growth: The incumbent will own a sales training piece for the region and enable field sales executives to do their job effectively. The incumbent should be aware of the knowledge level of the region by conducting regular assessments, and design content for training modules of the region to increase efficiency of the sales team.
Training Journey Ownership: The incumbent will be responsible for interventions at all stages including new hire onboarding, OJT, regular process / product updates, TTT for managers. Drive rigorous process adoption among the team and manage deliverables in a programmatic manner.
Performance Management: The incumbent will be responsible for highlighting key areas of improvement at people/ processes/ product level and spend at least 40-50% of time on field to handhold low performers. The incumbent will also make sure that the team is aware of the product enhancements and new features.
Stakeholder Management: The incumbent should lead and promote the initiatives coming from the ground and share the best practices with the leadership team. Monthly planning of training calendar in liaison with sales capability manager and region sales manager. The incumbent might be required to present training deliverables progress to National Sales Leadership as well.
