Now Gymshark is coming in strong to 2024 with another permanent location to shop your fave ‘fits IRL… this time in Westfield, Stratford.  And we’re hiring!

Working in our Westfield, Stratford store you’ll play a pivotal part in bringing Gymshark to life, in real life. Our community and customers are our ‘family’, so we treat them as such. We don’t care if they buy, browse, or just hang out. What matters is providing a safe space where everyone belongs and feels welcome.

As a Sales Associate, (internally we call this role a Team Member) you will ensure that our community has the most incredible Gymshark experience by bringing a welcoming and positive energy to all those who visit. Building authentic connections with visitors to the store you will help our community to shop how they want, and when they want.

WORKING HOURS: Full Time - 40 hours & Part Time - 32 hours, 24 hours or 16 hours - You will need to work weekends & evenings 

PAY: £13.15 per hour

LOCATION: Westfield, Stratford Shopping Centre

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Build and nurture relationships with customers and support the wider team to get to know individual community members, frequent visitors and  longstanding supporters offering advice and information about our products
  • Support stock management and movement, including audits, delivery and rapid replenishment to ensure we don’t miss an opportunity
  • Drive monthly net promoter scores by delivering exceptional customer service that enhances customer retention and loyalty
  • Promote and increase Gymshark app downloads through effective customer engagement and demonstrating app features
  • Represent the Gymshark culture and values, be a natural brand ambassador in everything you do and be passionate about the community and their experience of Gymshark
  • Support store leadership with the execution of store driven projects as and when needed   

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE:

  • Experience in a similar retail or customer facing role providing excellent customer service
  • Experience in adapting to systems and processes to support in delivering operational excellence in a fast paced environment
  • Positive approach - Open minded, receptive, and willing to learn about product, systems, processes, customer journey and our community
  • Highly effective communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire customers and our store team
  • Team Player – Trusted and reliable. Knows we are stronger together and can take and share constructive feedback 
  • Aligned to and inspired by our brand values with a shared passion for community, wellness and fitness 
  • You can commit to working where and when the retail teams need you on weekends, nights or bank holidays 
  • Full eligibility to work in the UK  

In the store in Westfield, Stratford shopping centre we will need to cover early morning deliveries and late night opening hours so a full range of shifts will be offered from 6-11pm with occasional nights. We will require full flexibility in working weekends and evenings

In order to comply with PCI-DSS standards (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards) which governs how we handle, store and access payment data, this position is subject to satisfactory results from necessary pre-employment checks, including a basic DBS check. This will be conducted at offer stage and covers unspent convictions only. In all cases we’ll always speak to you first and no offers will be automatically withdrawn.
