The Sales Analyst will work on the Revenue Operations team and is responsible for enabling the revenue team with actionable data and intelligence. These responsibilities are delivered through the definition & refinement of the key sales data campaigns and/or sales data analysis, measuring the performance of the campaigns against established targets, and recommending actions to drive improved revenue performance.

What will you be doing?

This person will be responsible for creating actionable customer and prospect lists for our sales teams, producing sales campaign analysis, reporting on sales performance (revenue/expense/customer trends), modeling impact of investment, and performing root cause analysis.

    • Utilize advanced Looker and Excel skill sets to analyze data sets as set forth by the Sales Leaderships team. These may include (but are not limited to):
      • Retail Sales data
      • Forecasting
      • Marketplace data
      • Transportation data
    • Identify high-potential accounts/customers/prospects through market research and data analysis
    • Create sales data campaign queries and work with BI and our Salesforce teams to get campaigns in front of our sellers
    • Push to learn and become a subject matter expert on our carrier, software, insurance, and other offerings
    • Seek to understand areas for data efficiencies and push forward innovative and game-changing projects
    • Prepare materials for sales leaders to help them with enabling their team to drive revenue

       

What are we looking for?

  • Business acumen is required - understanding the levers to pull to produce growth and associated risks
  • SQL and BigQuery experience
  • Strong PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel skills are required
  • Understands descriptive statistics
  • Strategic Bias - weighing scale vs. expediency, and can identify opportunities and risks within existing systems.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate results and insights to management and directors
  • Able to effectively combine quantitative data and qualitative information to communicate the “so what” of a situation to drive actionable insights
  • Passion for customers and interest in eCommerce
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to understand and deliver on business needs
  • Data management skills (cleaning, linking, analyzing, reporting)
  • Able to balance fun & positive working relationships with the need to have direct conversations around business performance
  • Salesforce reporting experience

What will make you stand out?

  • Experience with data analysis in SQL, presentation of data
  • Experience working with an income statement or knowledge about revenue and business drivers
  • Experience with presenting data in a BI tool (preferably Looker)
  • Experience with modeling the financial impact of strategic initiatives, including sensitivity analysis
  • Experience with generalized linear modeling or clustering
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years’ experience.
  • Three or more (3+) years of relevant work experience.
  • Two or more (2+) years’ experience in relational database concepts with expert knowledge of SQL
  • Two or more (2+) years of experience modeling investment opportunity or financial planning
  • One or more (1+) years of experience managing and developing business intelligence solutions, such as Tableau, Looker, or Sisense for Cloud Data Teams (preferably Looker)
  • Experience in a fast-paced, global environment
  • Strong track record of learning new tools, technologies, and frameworks
  • Experience with building reports and dashboards in Salesforce
