We are looking for a proactive, flexible and highly organised Sales Administrator to support our growing Service & Sales departments at SPT Labtech. You will be responsible for the sales order processing, overseeing inbound email and phone customer communications.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Consumables order processing, working closely with customers to ensure their goods are shipped on time, every time (including checking of ecommerce inbox)
  • Prepare consumable quotes and provide pricing to customers as required
  • Process all instrument orders – primary contact for providing the customer acknowledgement of orders and subsequent details of delivery / installation dates
  • Ensure that all Sales Summary Forms and relevant paperwork is accurate and submitted to Accounts Dept to ensure the timely processing of all sales orders
  • Update Sales Force opportunities with closing information, including instrument and purchasing contact details
  • Open new accounts on Infor Ecommerce system
  • Handle accounts queries and ensuring they are responded to appropriately.
  • Supervise the RMA (Return Merchandise Authorisation) process to maintain customer satisfaction levels with our products.
  • Process FOC customer orders and RMAs where required
  • Release credit note paperwork as required

Skills & Attributes

You:

  • Experienced in driving customer satisfaction in a technical customer service role
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adaptable and resilient, adjusts quickly to changing priorities and conditions

The essentials: 

  • A good understanding of sales processes and wider business processes
  • Be enthusiastic and able to interact with multiple departments and personnel
  • A good telephone manner and an ability to convey confidence and efficiency
  • Be organised and have clear thinking with a good ability to prioritise
  • Experience using Syteline/Infor or a similar ERP system for an OEM
  • Experience using Salesforce would be desirable
  • PC literate and able to maintain and apply database data
