We’ve already helped our customers make over 1 million connections to informal education — and we are growing fast. We’re seeking a motivated, curious, experienced Sales Account Executive to help us amplify our impact as we head into the next stage of growth.
As a member of the sales team, your primary responsibilities will be hunting new opportunities, qualifying incoming leads, setting meetings with qualified prospects, conducting discovery meetings with prospects to determine fit, and demoing the software and presenting our value proposition to key decision-makers.
You will be responsible for sourcing at least 50% of your own leads. A hunter mentality is needed to be successful in this role.
The ideal candidate for this role is a self-starter who requires minimal direct supervision. You should be detail-oriented, have concise communication skills, be a team-player, and be coachable and flexible. You should be passionate about lifelong learning and making a difference. Prior experience selling software-as-a-service (SaaS) is preferred. Current or former BDRs are welcome to apply.
Responsibilities
- Prospect new business opportunities: You will be responsible for researching and identifying potential customers in target markets, using various channels such as LinkedIn, phone prospecting and email sequencing. You will be responsible for developing and executing outbound sales tactics to increase customer acquisition.

- Close deals: You will be responsible for developing proposals, and negotiating and closing deals with potential customers. You will also work with potential customers to set them up with the proper onboarding path and prepare them for hand off to Customer Success.
- Meet sales targets: You will be responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets set by the company. This will require you to have a deep understanding of the company's sales goals, pipeline, and conversion rates.
- Stay organized: You will be responsible for tracking all activities and sales results in our CRM system (HubSpot) and expected to report on defined KPIs every week.
- Be a team player: You will actively participate in weekly sales meetings, trainings, and articulate general and market feedback to management. We are a small team and working together is key to our success.
