POSITION PURPOSE:

Utilizing a consultative selling approach, to sell Hostway’s Professional services (Web Design & Online Marketing) to various types of small to medium sized business customers. Sales Representatives are responsible for prospecting new clients, performing follow-up calls, understanding client's needs, goals, and objectives, and managing their pipeline.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals as assigned by management;
- Must be highly self motivated, a terrific communicator and excellent closer of sales;
- Outbound follow-up sales calls to existing client base and other assigned channels;
- Must be excellent at using a consultative sales approach to close inbound leads as well as generate/close leads via prospecting with existing customers;
- Maintain a current understanding of Hostway’s product offerings;
- Understand customer needs and how to highlight the features and benefits of products;
- Order tracking and management through Hostway’s customer management system;
- Assist prospects by analyzing their needs, recommending solutions and providing formal proposals;
- An overall understanding of relationship selling and the importance of up selling higher revenue opportunities;



Requirements

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

- University degree preferred;
- Excellent written and spoken English;
- 1-3 years previous sales experience working with inbound and outbound phone sales;
- Cold call outbound sales calls to assigned lead list;
- Web Design or Marketing background preferred but not required;
- Solution selling experience in complex and extended sales cycles;
- Must be well organized and detail-oriented and have excellent interpersonal skills;
- Proficient in Windows and / or Mac based environment;
- Ability to identify and comprehend customer problems and create problem-solving solutions;
- Strong Customer Service and Sales skills are necessary;
- Excellent active listening, oral and written communications skills;
- A demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team setting is also required;
