Focus is looking for an experienced candidate who can help us succeed in our mission to serve an increasing number of districts across the nation. We are looking to expand our Sales team by hiring a Sales Account Executive with contacts in one or more of these territories: Missouri, Texas Utah, Arizona, and Ohio. The intention of this position is to represent Focus School Software in the K-12 public school markets in these states and build strong relationships with technology leaders of public school districts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Experience in Education Sales with contacts in Ohio, Texas, Utah, Arizona and/or Missouri
- Knowledge of the SIS market highly preferred
Major responsibilities of this position will include:
- Prospecting
- Identifying potential customers
- Evaluating the needs of districts in new territories
- Scheduling live software demonstrations
- Identifying key district staff to initiate, develop, and maintain relationships with
- Planning visits to each district to discuss potential opportunities
- Maintaining demo sites and ensure that data is up to date
- Working with Marketing Team to develop and update marketing materials
- Assisting at trade show booths at statewide & national conferences
- Social networking
- Staying on top of the latest market trends
- Budget Forecasting; publishing and approving annual pricing
The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, sales driven, well spoken, and very likable. Candidate must be able to travel up to 50%.
