Sales Account Executive

Sales professional with an assigned client portfolio. Has primary responsibility
for maintaining and growing productive relationships with critical active
accounts. Ensures client awareness of all products and services offered by the
company. Provides a valuable interface between the client and the company by
communicating customer needs and desires to the organization, fulfilling the
role of client advocate. Characteristics of client portfolio include:

  • 25 – 75 accounts consisting of currently active clientele
  • $4 - $7 million in annualized revenues
  • Number of accounts is balanced by revenue value of portfolio
  • Account assignments are based in a reasonable geographic footprint.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet revenue retention and growth objectives for assigned client portfolio.
  • Minimize attrition of client revenue and profit
  • Increase diversity of services sold to clients.
  • Develop and implement critical client account sales plans. 
  • Foster productive working relationships between clients and the company.
  • Provide a sales forecast for assigned client portfolio and update quarterly.
  • Provide critical support to national account, product and market based strategic sales initiatives.
  • Work cooperatively with other sales and business development staff to foster team-selling initiatives where applicable.
  • Report critical sales pipeline activities within the prescribed customer relationship management tools provided by the company.
  • Effectively communicate client requirements to operational personnel, seeking necessary approvals prior to acceptance or rejection of opportunities.
  • Provide feedback on market conditions and client developments to foster an environment of continuous improvement and the evolution of relevant solutions to market challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide near term revenue forecasts to operations to ensure operational preparedness and satisfy client demands for service.

Education: BS/BA in Sciences or related field
Experience: Minimum 5-7 years progressively successful sales experience in
a service industry. Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry
preferred.

Candidates located within SouthEast Texas and Western Louisiana are eligible to apply. This role is a full time opportunity. 

This role has a salary range of $80-90,000 base salary with commission and health, dental and vision benefits as well as a company matching 401K plan and PTO plan. 

Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English
