If you feel fit the role’s requirements, apply for the “Safety Supervisor.” The ideal candidate will support the Safety Manager and the Aviation Safety Manager by providing guidance and direction for the planning, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Safety Management System of Fraport Greece Organization.
The role is located in our premises at Marousi, Athens.
What will you be doing?
- Provides information and advice to the Senior management on Safety management matters
- Supervises the duties and tasks providing guidance to Safety Coordinators
- Actively collaborates with internal departments and/or external authorities
- Develops and manages appropriate methods for the Safety communication (i.e. on site Airport visits, safety surveys, Safety Information Bulletins, etc.)
- Conducts Safety evaluations and audits
- Develops and compiles safety reports (i.e. safety assessment reports, safety evaluation reports, investigation reports, Hazard Identification & Risk Assessment Report, etc.)
- Support the Airport Operations personnel in regards to Safety management issues
- Reviews airside construction & maintenance works documentation (i.e. Technical Report & Hazard identification & Risk assessment reports)
- Develops and manages Safety management documentation (i.e. SOPs, SMS manual, SIBs, etc.)
- Prepares the required material and participates to Safety meetings (i.e. Safety Review Board, etc.)
- Develops the training material for SMS and delivers the respective training
- Support the Safety Manager to administrative issues
- Develops safety promotion projects and campaigns
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in the field of Business or Economics or Engineering
- At least 7 years experience in an aerodrome operations including Safety
- Knowledge of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) regulatory framework for Aerodromes as demonstrated by professional experience
- Safety Management diploma or certification would be considered as a plus
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office
- Fluent in written and spoken English language
