Are you passionate about fostering a safety-first culture and making a real impact? We’re looking for a dynamic and driven Safety, Health, and Environment Manager to join our global team. In this pivotal role, you will support our New Zealand & Fiji branches to achieve top-tier safety and environmental performance. Work closely with line management and SHE Business Partners, and help shape a culture that prioritises the well-being of all employees.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain effective SHE management systems to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation, company policies, and best practices.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership on all SHE matters, and lead efforts to continuously improve safety performance.
  • Mentor and guide SHE Business Partners, ensuring they can effectively execute SHE responsibilities in alignment with Rentokil Initial’s systems.
  • Drive engagement and create a culture of service, teamwork, responsibility, and relationship-building across all levels of the business.
  • Lead and support the risk assessment process, ensuring risks are identified, assessed, and controlled across various sites.
  • Oversee and promote SHE learning programs to ensure all employees are trained to work in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Prepare and communicate detailed SHE reports to management, including compliance and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate SHE processes into daily operations.

What You’ll Need:

  • A passion for safety, health, and the environment.
  • Proven experience in a Health and Safety management role, with a deep understanding of SHE regulations.
  • Health and Safety qualifications/certifications (ISO accreditation experience is a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • High organizational skills, with a sharp attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • A confident leader, ready to inspire and motivate teams to achieve SHE excellence.
