About the Opportunity: Eager. Detail-oriented. Proactive. The ideal US Business Development Senior Account Executive (SAE)embodies these qualities and has a desire to support a team at the forefront of the agency’s offerings. 

The SAE will have a front seat to all things happening at Edelman and will have the chance to work across nearly every offering, specialty, and craft –a fantastic opportunity for someone interested in agency life but not quite sure where they fit within it. We’re excited to bring fresh thinking to our team and welcome individuals from all industries, backgrounds and experiences to apply. A growth mindset, positive outlook and strong writing ability will be key for successful candidates.

Responsibiliities

  • Provide project management support for mid-tier USNB Pitches  
  • Conducting media and social audits  
  • Drafting product and company backgrounders 
  • Assembling capabilities presentations 
  • Responding to requests for information about Edelman 
  • Copyediting and proofreading all pitch materials ensuring strategic alignment with defined business objectives 
  • Coordinating logistics of meetings, setting agendas, documenting meeting notes and identifying next steps for teams 
  • Vet inbound new business opportunities and assess next steps  

  • They will also help with the operations of the team including: 
  • Capturing team member biographies  
  • Identifying and speaking with prospects 
  • Finding and sharing our best practices, proposals and slides 

Basic Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent relevant experience 
  • Strong written and verbal communication, organized and detail-oriented 
  • Calm under pressure, proactive, solutions-oriented, can-do attitude and outlook 
  • The ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines 
  • Possess a natural curiosity, critical thinking skills  
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant experience in communications, consulting, sales, advertising, marketing, media, tech or related fields  
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
