About the Role

Envoy’s Workplace Technology team strives to create a workplace that just works. You will join an experienced Workplace Technology team in building, supporting, and evolving an innovative technology experience for all Envoys. We believe Workplace Technology is more than a service desk; we don’t just keep the lights on—we design the light.

Our team is seeking an exceptional SaaS Systems Administrator who can architect scalable SaaS solutions to meet dynamic business needs. This is a full-time, onsite role, reporting to our Workplace Technologies Systems Manager. Envoy has a fast-paced startup environment, and we’re looking for individuals who are creative, adaptable, and organized.

This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.

You Are

  • A seasoned Workplace Technology professional with a strong customer service orientation.
  • An expert in SAML, SSO, OAuth, and SCIM.
  • Passionate about automation and workflow optimization.
  • Highly experienced in the Modern Apple Ecosystem (ABM, MDM, DEP, VPP).
  • Security-minded when deploying solutions, with a focus on identity management and zero-trust architecture.
  • Enthusiastic about the latest trends in cloud-first strategies.

You Will

  • Architect, deploy, and manage SaaS applications, focusing on identity management and SCIM integrations for user provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Conduct root cause analyses, identify solutions, and implement them effectively.
  • Document processes and train team members on Workplace Technology expertise.
  • Collaborate on company-wide Workplace Technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Develop custom automation tools to streamline cloud infrastructure management.
  • Prioritize multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

You Have  

  • Deep technical knowledge of SaaS applications, including Google Workspace, Atlassian, Office 365, Okta, Zoom, Slack, and others.
  • Experience with a cloud-first architecture (zero-trust, no on-prem).
  • Proficiency in programming languages for automation and scripting.
  • Strong skills in command line operations, SCIM implementations, and scripting.
  • Advanced networking knowledge and expertise in cloud security practices.
  • A proven ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and make decisions in real-time.
  • Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts into user-friendly language.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in IoT and home automation.
  • Background in Unix/Linux OS System Administration.
  • JAMF Management experience.
  • Enterprise-level network administration experience.

Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, our expected cash compensation for this role is $134,000 - $153,000 (Annually). Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
