Join DOF as our new Remote System Manager (ROV Manager)!

We are looking for a dedicated Remote Systems Manager to lead our Atlantic ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicles) team. In this role, you will function as the department manager for the Atlantic ROV department who operates our ROVs onboard our vessels. You will have overall responsibility for planning and performance of all activities executed by the ROV department. You will also systematically monitor the department's activities and ensure compliance with company HSEQ objectives.

In this role, you will lead a large offshore ROV team, along with the onshore support team, and be responsible for the operational performance of our ROV assets. Success in this position will require strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to build and maintain a positive team culture. Technical experience with operating ROVs offshore is an important aspect of leading the department.

The Remote Systems Manager and the ROV department are an integral part of DOF's operational team, which fosters a positive work environment with an informal tone. The team is engaged in challenging and diverse tasks, maintains a strong focus on HSE, and upholds a high level of expertise across all departments. You will collaborate closely with the Crewing department to establish, implement, and manage schedules, including training plans for offshore ROV personnel. You will also ensure that DOF maintains the highest standards for the upkeep of our ROV assets, with the support of our technical team to guarantee optimal operational performance.

We are looking for someone who has a broad interest and experience particularly in offshore and ROV operations, who can lead a large and dynamic team. You should be proactive, dedicated to quality and safety, and excited about developing and supporting a talented team.

Requirements

  • Relevant working experience from the industry
  • Relevant university degree or similar with specialization in technical or other relevant to energy/O&G sector (experience can compensate for lack of formal education)
  • Experience from leading teams
  • Experience from offshore operations
  • Good knowledge in Information Technology (IT), business tools and systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Confident, self-motivated, and self disciplined person with sound management and organizational skills
