This role is defined as an Account Executive – Inbound/Outbound Sales. You will actively connect and engage with customers, utilizing a consultative approach to identify customer needs. The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience establishing and building relationships through lead conversions or targeted outreach methods, identifying growth opportunities to accomplish business objectives, and ensuring customer satisfaction. If this is something that appeals to your ambition, preferred candidates will have demonstrated experience selling into complex fields.

Your Responsiblities:-

  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with clients and partners by understanding their focus and anticipating their needs, and act as the primary point of contact for multiple accounts.
  • Solve problems for accounts by understanding and exceeding expectations, illustrating the value of products and services to create growth opportunities.
  • Ability to stay current with product offerings and industry trends.
  • Utilise a consultative approach, discuss business issues with prospects, and develop a formal quote, a written sales proposal, or a formal sales presentation addressing their business needs.
  • Build and strengthen the business relationship with current accounts and develop new prospects through cold calling and networking.
  • Manage existing customer accounts by ensuring that existing customers remain satisfied with company products and services.
  • Provide customer needs and product feedback to product managers and technical support staff.
  • Develop and implement effective account plans to retain existing customers.
  • Manage customer activity with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow-up to closure on open issues.
  • Document the buying criteria and process, and identify key decision-makers.
  • Ensure pipeline accuracy based on evidence and accurate data.

Requirements:

  • 2 - 5 years of experience with SaaS software sales as an AM/AE.
  • Ability to be in our Rotterdam office 3 days per week.
  • Experience selling to large organizations within complicated domains.
  • Dynamic personality able to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels. 
  • Confident communication (written and oral) skills and a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with all levels of internal and external organisations.
  • A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting, and completion of planned deliverables.
  • Business acumen, sound decision-making, analytical and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment; a consultative approach to managing complex client relationships.
  • Passion about business and dissatisfaction with status quo, always thinking of ways to improve/grow assigned clients.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and an aptitude for learning new systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and remain motivated.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% to meet with clients and prospects.
  • Fluent in English (oral and written) any other European language is a plus.
