Robotics Software Engineering Manager

Job Requirements:

  • Oversee the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of proprietary software applications
  • Lead the design and build of robotic software applications, utilizing cutting-edge AI, adaptable AI, and robotic dexterity technology
  • Manage software deployments to AI-powered robotic systems in production, collaborating with global brands
  • Address customer and employee feedback by updating and iterating software to enhance performance
  • Supervise the implementation of feature requests for the company's product line, including AmbiSort A-Series, AmbiSort B-Series, and Ambi Analytics
  • Spearhead the development of software applications for the company's future product pipeline
  • Take ownership of managing configuration tools to ensure efficient installation and support of the company's products
  • Define, create, and maintain streamlined and transparent engineering standards and development processes
  • Act as a manager for the software team, overseeing team meetings and development cycles, and conducting comprehensive code reviews
  • Provide valuable coaching and mentorship to junior software engineers, fostering their professional growth and development

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Robotics, Robotics Engineering, or related field
  • Six (6) months of post-baccalaureate experience as a Robotics Software Engineer or related role
  • Experience must include: robotics kinematics and dynamics; computer vision; motion planning; deep learning; machine learning for robust software architecture; developing robotics software applications using C++, Python, nodeJS, Docker, CI/CD, and Linux
