We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Intern to join our robotics group, where you'll
join our Autonomy team to develop automated tooling for the analysis of test data captured
during development testing, QA testing, and field trips. This is a hands-on role, offering the
chance to work on advanced robotics technologies in our Brisbane CBD Head Office. The
experience you gain will lead to a broader development role within our team in the event of the
position being extended.
The paid internship program will run for 6 months from October 2024. There is a high likelihood
of extension, based on performance and project requirements. This is an excellent opportunity

Here's what we need
- Collaborate with our Autonomy team to develop tools that automate the analysis of large data sets, optimizing workflows during testing and deployment.
- Ensure data pipelines and automation tools are efficient, scalable, and robust with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Deliver high-quality tools on time, keeping internal stakeholders informed throughout the project timeline.
- Engage with team members to plan and design tools that meet business and technical needs.
- Contribute to the team's knowledge of data analysis workflows.
How you'll succeed
- Familiarity with Python for data analysis and automation.
- Experience with C++ development, especially in a robotics or data processing context.
- Knowledge of ROS (Robot Operating System) for robotics integration and data collection workflows.
- Ability to write clean, concise, and well-documented code.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large datasets.
