Chief Buildings is seeking a night shift Robot Operator to join the Chief team. This position will operate the Robot Welder proficiently with the ability to repair incidental welds using the GMAW process, completing the product within company standards. Must possess the ability to perform preventative maintenance and utilize computer aided design to create programs for production.

Job Responsibilities:

- Basic understanding of hand tools including tape measure.
- Ability to interpret fabrication drawings and other data sheets for final weld assembly.
- Basic welding skills including torch and grinding are preferred.
- Basic CNC Programming skills, preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills required.
Qualifications and Skill Requirements:
- Performs duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing required safety equipment. Keeps work area neat and orderly. Reports unsafe conditions to supervisors.
- Capable of performing all processes in the operation, including forklift and overhead crane material handling.
- Properly complete all routine paperwork and computer data entry related to the job responsibilities.
- Capable of working with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manipulate computer programming to adjust weld parameters to produce quality results.
- Performs routine maintenance on the machine to minimize downtime.
- Works in a team environment with the ability to adjust to changing demands.
- Ability to manipulate the CAD programming for the robot to insure maximum output.
- Ability to inspect final product to company standards.
