Main Duties:
- Preparation of the instrumentation to be installed on the vehicle with knowledge on data
- acquisition systems and sensors (accelerometers and wheel force transducers mainly)
- Correct installation of the instrumentation in the vehicle
- Perform the road load data acquisition projects around India following pre-defined test routes
- Ensure the quality of measured data and that the objective was met
- Verification of road load data, including comparison of data with established test procedures and historical data
- Troubleshooting of any problem that can happen with the instrumentation or other aspects during the project
- Prepare records and reports of the performed activity to guarantee the traceability and quality of the project
- Continuous reporting to the Project Manager of the project
- Manage the team (driver, technician) assigned for the project
- B.E in Mechanical/Automobile or Diploma but with experience
- Experience required - 4 to 5 years
- We require a good theoretical / practical basis of signal acquisition with accelerometers, wheel force transducers, data loggers and data analysis capabilities.
- Knowledge about the Durability Tests, Performance Tests like Fuel economy, coast down
- It is preferential to know the use of HBM Somat data logger or equivalent.
- Knowledge of the following acquisition / analysis software is preferential: Ncode analysis Catman and Diadem.
- Good interpersonal, organizational and self-management skills demonstrating good judgement,
- excellent team communication, root cause and problem-solving skills
- Availability to travel around India for long periods
- Driving license
