About the role:

Learn & Apply - Learn about a fintech’s operating structure
- Learn about credit products/facilities such as collateralised/ uncollateralized corporate revolving credit facilities, and be involved in the end-to-end process of credit limit application, fund disbursement, monthly billing, collection of repayments, applying late penalties, waivers, and credit facility renewals
- Learn about payment products/facilities such as intercompany and intra ledger bank transfers, and the various transfer/payments rails used per country with each benefit and drawback of specific transfer rails
- Learn about how to reconcile payment transactions between Aspire and our partners, and be involved in improving on existing rulesets to improve automated reconciliations
- Apply all the below learnings in daily operational activities to troubleshoot issues and determine if they are operational or technical in nature, and to ensure the company’s products are functional and delivered seamlessly

Daily Operations - Operate back-end functions on our tech platform such as manual processing of transactions/requests, activating features, invoicing, applying repayments/late fees, ledger readjustments.

External Partner Management - Liaise with our business/service partners daily to troubleshoot and resolve issues

External Client Management - Interact with our customers to solve their issues/concerns, advise solutions in-line with our product capabilities and internal SOP’s

Internal Cross Functional Collaboration - Collaborate with various internal operational departments/teams to troubleshoot on issues, derive solutions, and create new SOP’s.

Build Processes and Frameworks - Own or Co-build/design existing or new processes to achieve the operational efficiencies of reduced time (SLAs), reduced errors, and better client experiences.

Ad-Hoc Projects - Work on ad-hoc projects to improve the operational efficiencies of reduced time (SLAs), reduced errors, and better client experiences.
Minimum qualifications:
- 1-2 years of experience working in the payments space; experience related to loan products would be a plus
- Basic understanding of credit risk for payment products such as credit limits and card payments
- Strong motivation to make improvements and have an impact by identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and following up on action plans
- Data analytical skills are a strong plus
- Good communication skills and the ability to lead credit-related projects while collaborating with different stakeholders
