The Role
We are looking for a Risk Management Specialist to join our Risk team at Viva.com. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a variety of risk areas, ensuring that our organization maintains stability and meets its strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of risk management principles and have the adaptability to respond to an evolving business landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and monitor risks across different areas;
  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures;
  • Conduct risk assessments and create risk reports for Senior Management and relevant Committees;
  • Prepare regulatory risk reports to ensure compliance with regulatory framework;
  • Support the automation and improvement of risk monitoring and reporting processes.

Requirements

To be considered you should have:

  • 2+ years of experience in a risk management role within a financial institution or as a consultant in the financial services sector;
  • Strong understanding of IFRS9;
  • Knowledge of regulatory reporting frameworks (e.g., COREP, FINREP) is highly desirable;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and macros;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Greek;
  • Ability to adapt to new situations in a fast-paced environment.
