Summary 

Unlike most Rideshare companies, our drivers are employees. You will receive training, be paid by the hour plus tips, accrue paid time off, and have access to health benefits. We also provide the vehicle and cover maintenance, insurance, and charging costs. You start and end your shift at one of our hubs and focus on providing an exceptional customer experience and a safe ride.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be at least 25 years of age at the time of employment (for insurance purposes)
  • Must possess and maintain an active TLC & U.S. DMV licenses
  • Must have had a U.S. DMV license for a minimum of 3 years 
  • No outstanding fines or fees owed to the DMV
  • TLC & DMV licenses must be approved by our fleet insurance providers
  • Familiarity with smart-phone devices and applications such as Waze, Google Maps, Gmail
  • Must be able to use your smartphone device at work; smartphone has to be compatible with Company standards
  • Ability to operate a 4-door, 5-passenger seated vehicle
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Previous Customer Service experience is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport customers to and from their destination using the company-provided vehicle
  • Interact courteously and professionally with passengers and the community 
  • Assist passengers with loading/unloading their belongings when needed
  • Maintain a professional attire
  • Maintain cleanliness of company vehicle while on shift
  • Identify and communicate vehicle issues to our Driver Support team
  • Adhere to all state and local vehicle traffic laws while in possession of the vehicle during your shift

Compensation and Benefits

  • 100% of tips paid out to employees
  • Earn ~$1,100 per week as a full-time employee (inclusive of base rate, performance-based pay incentives, and tips) 
  • Save over $400/week as we handle all the maintenance, insurance, and TLC fees associated with our vehicles.

    • Drug Testing
    • Defensive Driving (via our TLC School Partner)
    • Continuing Education Course (via our TLC School Partner)
