About the role

As part of our expanding global proposal management initiative, we are actively seeking an experienced RFP Manager to enhance our team’s coverage in the APJC region. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the sales team, technical writers, channel partners, product managers, and various subject matter experts across the organization to articulate compelling value-based narratives while also ensuring compliance with complex submission requirements. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in both commercial and public sector bidding practices and will be excited to contribute to various continuous improvement initiatives within our team. Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of proposals, ensuring compliance with all requirements and guidelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and create compelling responses that address customer needs
  • Assist in the ongoing evaluation of current response processes, and provide recommendations for improvements required to optimize work in the APJC region.
  • Contribute to maintenance of a repository of templates, standard language, product collateral, exhibits, and other data resources to facilitate high quality and accurate responses
  • Lead and contribute to other departmental continuous improvement initiatives as required

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in RFx management
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices (e.g. Shipley and APMP) such as kickoffs, color reviews, compliance, win themes, schedule, resumes, past performances, etc.
  • Ability to work to time constraints while maintaining a high level of attention to detail; prioritizing tasks and setting expectations accordingly, especially under pressure
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand client needs and translate them into compelling proposals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with customers and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Must thrive on the excitement and challenge of being on a lean and busy team
  • Experience with the content management and automation capabilities of RFP software like RFPIO, Loopio, or similar
  • Strong knowledge of G-Suite and Microsoft Office
