RF Calibration Engineer

As a RF Calibration Engineer you will be responsible for the calibration of electrical and electronic test equipment, working in a small team of engineers, specialising in RF equipment.
The position is not fully lab-based. Travelling to customers sites across the UK & Europe to complete calibrations will be required regularly (after training/probation) so being willing to travel is a necessity. A full UK driver’s licence is preferable, but not critical to begin with; however, our expectation would be that a full licence would be obtained by the time probation ends. We provide the vehicles for work so a car is not necessary.
Ideally we are looking for one of the following types of people:
• Experienced engineer (2+ years) working with RF electronics
• Someone who has completed an Electronics apprenticeship looking for the next step in their learning/career
• Graduate (Electronics, Physics or an Electronics based degree)
The candidate must have excellent IT skills (especially MS Excel manipulation), be a fast learner, a good communicator (verbally) and be able to problem solve and travel / work alone or in a very small team (2-3 people).
