Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate Growth Marketing Operations Assistant to join our growing Durban office as a key support role within our Global Growth Marketing Operations Team. The successful candidate will manage the sourcing and qualification of new leads and target lists, and ensure timely, personalized, relevant, and valuable follow-up of leads within the MMR Family (MMR Research, Huxly, Together & Ideal Insight) in line with our marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inbound Lead Management: Qualify all inbound leads, ensuring they meet our criteria, along side any scoring criteria and other automations. Ensure leads are qualified, assigned and shared promptly with the relevant client teams, providing full instructions and necessary collateral, content & templates for email and social follow up.
  • Outbound Lead Process Development: Develop and maintain a solid process for mining contacts as per business requirements, enabling client teams to conduct proactive outreach effectively.
  • Target List Analysis, Qualification & Development: Source new qualified leads for our teams to contact using GDPR compliant sources and databases, based on specified segment criteria.
  • Template Creation and Messaging: Develop and optimize email and social messaging templates for follow-up by the client teams, ensuring consistency and effectiveness in communication.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with growth marketing, commercial, and business development teams to develop effective target lists and contact strategies.
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain a good understanding of the MMR Family’s offerings across business units to accurately convey our value proposition in template messaging.
  • Activity Tracking: Manage, track, and report all activities and results using CRM tools such as Access CRM (Sugar CRM), Hubspot, and Monday.com.
  • Sales Automation: Utilize sales cadence and marketing automation and insight tools to streamline processes and track effectiveness, fostering continuous improvement.
  • Process Optimization: Design, implement, and coordinate smooth lead management and follow-up processes[AG1]  across research, growth and marketing teams.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Process-focused, highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and initiate improvements in processes.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create compelling email and social media messaging templates in collaboration with our email and social specialists
  • Experience in lead qualification and management is highly beneficial
  • Strong work ethic and growth mindset.
  • Ability to analyze results and use learnings to improve future outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience in building models and analyzing data.
  • Familiarity with CRM and sales tools such as Access CRM (Sugar CRM), Hubspot, Salesloft is a plus.
  • Strong project management, organization, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
  • Collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Strong attention to detail.
