Responsibilities:
- Key contributor in the monthly financial close, ensuring accurate and timely results are delivered to management
- Assist in the design and scaling of revenue accounting processes, including revenue recognition
- Support business initiatives by providing guidance to internal teams for accounting and reporting requirements
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations, assist with flux analyses, and contribute to the financial reporting process
- Develop and document processes and controls, and identify opportunities for streamlining processes and increasing automation to improve the speed and efficiency of the monthly revenue close
- Support external and internal audit requirements related to specific areas of responsibility
- Assist with and manage various ad-hoc projects as needed
Experience, Skills & Qualifications:
- BS in Accounting/Finance
- 2+ years of experience in an accounting or financial analysis role
- Excellent communication skills
- Thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
- Self-driven and shows initiative
- Detail-oriented with great organizational skills
- Experience in applying revenue accounting guidance (ASC 606) and related reporting highly regarded
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Sociable personality
- Experience in data analysis tools such as PowerBI
