Retail Sales Team Lead

As a Retail Sales Team Lead, your focus will be on leading the team, driving incremental revenue and providing the tools and support for our partners to make sure they thrive on our platform and increase sales while improving operational aspects. With this in mind, you need to be super passionate about Account Management and Business Development, but also able to adapt and change your tone and approach depending on the type of partner you’re working with. 
 

What you'll be doing

  • Understand retail verticals (grocery, pharmacy, electronics, etc.) and competition to create effective acquisition strategies and unique selling points.
  • Identify and secure large retail and enterprise partners in Serbia, positioning Wolt as the partner of choice.
  • Analyze market trends and customer data to build business cases, project revenue, and support decision-making.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline from initial contact to closing, ensuring systematic execution.
  • Tailor commercial frameworks, pitch materials, and product offerings for each partner, while maintaining CRM updates and reporting.
  • Lead and mentor a sales team, setting clear goals, providing feedback, and fostering development to meet targets.
  • Collaborate with management on strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Monitor sales metrics, adjust strategies as needed, and report on progress and challenges to senior management.
  • Provide training, coaching, and support to improve team performance, product knowledge, and client relationships.
  • Proven experience in managing teams, processes, and multiple stakeholders
  • Strong track record in process development, optimization, and quality assurance
  • Skilled in time management, prioritization, and proactive problem-solving
  • Retail or industry experience is a plus (FMCG preferably)
  • Fluent in Serbian and English
