Overview:
Join the pioneering team as a Part-Time Sales Associate at the first Gymshark store in the United States. As an integral part of our expansion and a dynamic ambassador of our brand, you are not just selling products; you are the face of Gymshark, inspiring our community to reach their fitness and lifestyle aspirations. This role demands enthusiasm, energy, and a commitment to create an unparalleled shopping experience. Your contributions will be vital in establishing Gymshark's physical presence and community engagement in the US market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a frontline ambassador of Gymshark's culture and values; passionately represent the brand in every interaction.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales performance metrics, including unit sales, new client interactions, and email acquisitions.
- Drive monthly net promoter scores by delivering exceptional customer service that enhances customer retention and loyalty.
- Promote and increase Gymshark app downloads through effective customer engagement and demonstrating app features.
- Build and nurture relationships with customers, identifying and welcoming frequent visitors and longstanding supporters.
- Support in-store events and community-building activities to strengthen Gymshark's presence in the new market.
- Assist in stock management and ensure the store's presentation aligns with Gymshark's high standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for both staff and customers.
Performance Measurement:
Performance will be evaluated based on key performance indicators (KPIs), including but not limited to:
- Individual sales performance
- Unit sales achievements
- New client interactions and email acquisition rates
- Monthly net promoter scores (NPS)
- Gymshark app downloads and engagement
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- A minimum of 1-3 years of retail sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and other performance metrics.
- Highly effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and inspire customers.
- Agility and adaptability in a dynamic retail environment, with a willingness to take and give constructive feedback.
- Basic digital literacy, with experience in utilizing digital tools and platforms to enhance customer experience.
- Commitment to embodying and promoting Gymshark's values, with a focus on community building and inclusion.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in leading in-store events and community engagement initiatives.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and customer engagement.
- Budget management experience and understanding of retail operations.
- Project management skills, with the ability to lead and implement change effectively.
