ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Retail Strategy, the Retail Programs Manager will lead & direct the design, implementation, training, performance tracking, compliance reporting & payment facilitation of all retail specific programs for the US commercial organization. The Retail Programs Manager role involves delivering and presenting reporting and insights to the US Commercial Leadership Team. The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership, support, and alignment to develop growth strategies for the field teams to utilize within their retailers.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop criteria and process for onboarding new retail customers
  • Develop and implement value-generating retailer programs
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex business issues and make data-driven decisions
  • Curate advanced insight stories from various sources for sales to influence retailers
  • Seek continuous improvement and new ideas for delivering insights to the organization
  • Produce and update training related to all retail programs (JLP, JPP)
  • Develop and/or utilize systems to track, measure, and analyze program compliance
  • Develop and maintain quality relationships with commercial sales leaders
  • Utilize Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint to communicate program participation and adherence
  • Manage retailer program budgets with accurate forecasting and tracking

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry
  • Customer-facing sales experience in convenience retail and tobacco/nicotine industry highly preferred
  • Curiosity with a passion for continuous improvement
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables and tactfully communicate rationale to stakeholders
  • Experienced analytical skills in Microsoft Excel (including Pivot Tables, V-Lookups, formulas), Tableau, Salesforce CRM

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Advanced Degree is a plus

Salary varies by role, level and location, and is dependent on the cost of labor in a given
geographic region among other factors. These ranges may be modified at any time.
