As Retail Marketing Specialist, you will be part of Marketing team of Tires Market Malaysia responsible to drive Continental retail performance through smart network development and deployment of innovative retail strategy, supported by robust and agile processes.
Responsibilities:
Retail Strategy
• Collaborate with the Retail Manager to develop and implement retail strategies aligned with market dynamics and organizational goals.
• Contribute to the creation of a robust retail model for the Continental retail network, optimizing synergies and ensuring sustainability.
Renovation Project Management
• Full accountability for new shop renovation and refurbishment projects, adhering to brand guidelines, timelines, and investment policies.
• Partner with the Sales Team to assess new retail opportunities, conducting business case analyses and investment assessments.
• Foster cross-departmental and vendors collaboration in the planning, execution, and monitoring of renovation projects with customer centricity mindset.
• Provide monthly project management reports to track progress and ensure accountability.
Retail Marketing
• Oversee the development and distribution of in-store display materials and merchandises, including POSM and new shop opening packages.
• Manage sourcing, distribution, and inventory of in-store display materials, ensuring alignment with marketing objectives.
• Collaborate with other marketing functions to procure necessary marketing materials.
• Work closely with the purchasing team to secure products and services from suppliers at the best price and quality standards.
• Foster a collaborative and positive work environment with sales team and vendor that encourages teamwork, innovation, and professional development.
• On-site visit with sales team & vendor if required.
Database Management
• Oversee the maintenance of retail databases in a timely and accurate manner
• Implement best practices for data update, storage, and analysis to support decision-making and marketing efforts.
Retailer Performance Analysis
• Develop retailer sales performance report.
• Develop action plans with retail manager and sales team to address sales performance gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Education : Degree in Business Management/Marketing or equivalent
Experience: 1-3 yrs experience in retail marketing in a B2B environment
Language: Fluent in English language. Local language is added advantage
