We are one of the leading DTC brands in the country. We have over 2 million customers, have sold over 8 million pairs of underwear, and over the last seven years we’ve built a mid 8-figure apparel brand, selling exclusively online.
We’ve recently launched our retail experiences in the Denver area and are now expanding to a new location at the Las Vegas Airport opening this fall. This role will help us open the store in November. If this store is successful, we will quickly expand locations by the end of next year and for the right person, this role could evolve into a multi-store manager role. We are looking for someone special who wants to come in and help build our retail program from the ground up.

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for all aspects of store performance - sales, customer experience, staffing, etc. P&L responsibility for your store
- Lead from the retail floor, teach sales associates how to sell by selling yourself
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly store sales and profit goals
- Provide incredible customer service exemplifying Shinesty core values
- Hire, train, schedule, and motivate hourly employees to maximize performance
- Own visual merchandising and ensure product is displayed to maximize sales
- Manage inventory to ensure proper stock levels in store
- Plan and oversee in-store promotional events or displays
- Evaluate store employees performance and discipline/fire when necessary
- Create business strategies to attract and retain new customers and increase store traffic/profitability
Requirements
- Being a joyful person (you don’t have to be a comedian but our brand is fun and we need our retail team to represent that to customers)
- An affinity for Shinesty brand and products
- Proven record of sales success
- Willingness and ability to work nights and weekends
- 2 years minimum of assistant management or supervisory key holder experience at a successful retailer
- Experience scheduling, training, motivating hourly employees
- Minimum of 3 years of retail experience in apparel
- Understanding of retail math and basic business principles and KPI’s
- Excellent sales, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial problem solver, brings new ideas to the table and executes
- Visual merchandising experience in apparel
- Forecasting and business planning experience
Physical Requirements for all Shinesty retail team members:
- Stand or move around for extended periods of time
- Reach, carry, bend, and climb ladders occasionally
- Lift up to 40 lbs
Nice to Haves:
- Experience with Shopify platform including sales, orders, and performance metrics
- Experience with Netsuite platform
- Experience selling underwear or socks
- Fashion apparel industry experience or apparel buying experience
