Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners, and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners.
In Norway we are currently in nearly 50 cities and we are just getting started on our growth journey. Food delivery was just the start. Now, we have expanded our platform beyond food delivery into categories such as grocery, cosmetics, flowers, toys, electronics, books and other exciting products, all referred to as retail.
As an Enterprise Account Manager within Retail, you’ll be responsible for strategically developing a portfolio of key account partners, driving their growth and profitability. This role includes overall ownership of the accounts, ensuring a hands-on approach to daily management. You will implement new products, upsell, and handle tenders for existing partners throughout Norway.
You’ll work closely with various stakeholders, always prioritizing Wolt’s best interests and enabling our Norwegian operations to flourish.
What you’ll be doing
Account Growth Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to enhance key account assortments, driving growth and profitability through effective category management and store expansions.
Business Development: Pitch and execute innovative campaigns that drive account growth and enhance partner visibility. Identify and prioritize the needs of merchants, collaborating to co-create impactful solutions. Drive business development by selling Wolt Ads, campaign opportunities, and Wolt+ services to strengthen partnerships.
Operational Excellence & Collaboration: Ensure optimal in-store processes and quality standards while working closely with account partners to implement growth initiatives and facilitate ongoing improvements.
Market Insight & Data-Driven Analysis: Leverage market knowledge and data analytics to inform strategies, make informed decisions, and enhance account performance through comprehensive analyses and presentations. Conduct quarterly Business Reviews with partners to assess performance and develop forward-looking strategies.
Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners through proactive communication and exceptional service.
Relevant Experience: Proven success in Key Account Management and/or Business Development, with a strong commercial mindset driving growth and profitability.
Strategic Mindset & Business Acumen: Expert in building and presenting data-driven business cases, with a focus on sustainable growth strategies.
Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the Norwegian retail landscape, with experience in e-commerce or FMCG sectors.
Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in managing relationships at all organizational levels, ensuring alignment and driving collaboration across internal and external partners.
Data-Driven Decision Making: Highly analytical, using data to make sound business decisions. Experienced in translating insights into actionable strategies with advanced tools like Looker or PowerBI.
Structured Communication & Storytelling: Ability to convey complex ideas clearly, from concept to polished presentations, using data visualization to support decision-making.
Negotiation & Partnership Development: Skilled in negotiating favorable terms while building strong, lasting partnerships that drive mutual growth and success.
Project Management: Ability to plan, lead and implement improvements and growth projects effectively with own partner.
