Respiratory Therapy students!!! We have an exciting new opportunity as a Respiratory Therapy Tech. As a Respiratory Therapy Tech with us, you will provide professional respiratory therapy services to children under a licensed respiratory therapist within the framework of physicians' orders, care team guidelines, and care plans.

What You'll Do
- Within the respiratory therapy scope of practice, physician’s orders, and the child’s care plan, provide a range of respiratory services including inhaled medication therapy, chest physiotherapy, oxygen therapy, PEP therapy, CPAP therapy and BIPAP therapy. Assist with care of artificial airways.
- Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by respiratory therapy standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with children, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assure assigned child’s care needs are assessed, communicated, and met.
What You'll Need
- Current enrollment in an accredited Respiratory Therapy program, one year of coursework completed.
- Current BLS certification or willingness to obtain.
- PALS certification encouraged.
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the assigned work area, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.
- Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
- This position is subject to COVID-19 safety regulations.
