Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and medication administration
• Support residents with mobility and physical exercises as required
• Monitor and document residents’ health and well-being, promptly reporting any changes to the care team
• Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance residents' quality of life
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in resident living areas
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs
• Participate in training and development to enhance your caregiving skills

Requirements

• Previous experience as a care assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine compassion for helping others.
• Ability to work well within a team and maintain effective communication.
• Willingness to relocate to Ireland and immerse yourself in a new culture.
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in healthcare or social care are advantageous.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if required.
