Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented care manager/compliance officer to monitor our electronic quality assurance systems utilized by the caregivers, med techs and nurses at our residential care communities.  The ideal candidate will have experience using basic electronic medical records for assisted living and memory care to audit records and monitor compliance of resident charting, incident reporting, changes of condition, medication administration and other quality indicators.  Experience in residential care is helpful and very desirable but not necessarily required.  As the Residential Care Compliance Officer, this position is responsible to help ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reporting compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.

 

Responsibilities

  • Routine auditing of electronic medical records
  • Clear and accurate reporting of compliance issues
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly audits of service plans, medication administration records, and incident reports
  • Reviews systems and tracks accuracy of medication orders and administration records
  • Reviews staff notes to ensure documentation meets quality standards
  • Functions as company quality assurance officer

Requirements

  • Experience in residential care assisted living and/or memory care preferred
  • Computer competent and experienced in using electronic medical records
  • Ability to read, comprehend, write, and speak English to communicate effectively with staff
  • Must have effective documentation skills and the ability to type at least 50 words per minute
  • Ability to carefully and consistently follow systems, policies, procedures and protocols
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize daily tasks with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to perform duties and responsibilities (essential functions) with or without accommodation
  • Must be able to provide acceptable references
