Resident Care Assistant

At Buckner Villas, we are looking for a talented and friendly Personal Care Attendant to support our Senior community members. This role will drive excellence and ensure customer service meets the required results aligned with Buckner’s mission, vision, and values.

Five-Star Service at Buckner:

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will impact the lives of the Residents through providing routine personal care services in their homes and assist with the activities of daily living.

• Provide personal assistance in the home setting to assist with the activities of daily living.
• Aid with oral/dental care, bathing, grooming, toileting, and/or showering while ensuring the privacy and safety of the client and encouraging the client’s independence.
• Support the client with simple range of motion or other exercises as directed.
• Assist in meal preparation and encourage resident to maintain level of independence. Observe appetite and offer suggestions for dietary planning.
• Allow/encourage clients to make their own decisions when appropriate to promote independence.
• Report grievances and complaints made by the clients.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties for clients.
• Assist client to and from scheduled activities of choice. Encourage clients to participate in activities.

• High School Diploma (or G.E.D.) plus a minimum of 1 year prior experience as a nursing assistant with appropriate license/certification.
