Role purpose
Research and general support for the analysis of geopolitical, regulatory and operational risks in Greater China and North Asia.
Role tasks and responsibilities
- Provide Chinese- and English-language research assistance on a wide range of policy and business-related topics in Greater China and North Asia
- Assist with daily news monitoring of China’s government policies, reform progress, regulatory developments, as well as diplomatic and trade relations
- Provide Chinese-to-English translation and interpretation
- Accomplish other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- BA/BS or above
- Strong interest and research skills in the areas of policy and business
- Excellent Chinese and English language skills
- Good comprehension and communication experiences and skills
- Preferred knowledge in political science, international relations, and/or international business and trade
- Excellent Microsoft Office and Excel skills
