Trilateral Research is recruiting for a Research Analyst to support and deliver research for the GenAI4ED project focusing on Generative AI in Education. This role is a 12-month fixed-term contract, and the successful candidate can be based remotely within the Republic of Ireland.

Key responsibilities to include but not limited to
Project Delivery:
- Lead and support work in the EU-funded GenAI4ED project - a collaborative project involving multiple partners, focusing on the social and psychological factors of AI-human interaction in educational environments. This project work will include:
- Conducting a review of academic and grey literature on how generative AI is perceived and used in education, its risks, and benefits
- Identifying key factors for the effective use of AI in education.
- Examining what educators, students and parents expect from GenAI tools.
- Exploring the relationship between GenAI use, educators’ well-being, and working conditions.
- Examining policies and guidelines governing GenAI in education.
- Understanding the policy actions and guidelines needed at the EU level.
- Carrying out interviews with educators, students, and parents to explore their expectations and experiences with GenAI in education.
- Deliver project work, including research, reports and other outputs, in direct communication with the internal and external project coordinator/project lead, team members, manager, and/or clients.
- Escalate project management issues and risks to relevant team members.
- Represent Trilateral at project meetings and external events, including travel within Europe.
- Contribute to funding applications and support business development efforts within the Innovation & Research department.
- Grow and share knowledge of funding schemes and application processes (e.g., Horizon Europe and commercial tenders).
- Maintain and grow, through publication, funding and interdisciplinary outputs, expertise and research-driven innovation for Trilateral.
- Deliver impact requirements & represent the research project externally in line with Trilateral and project goals.
