Repack Supervisor Associate

Marley Spoon is bringing delightful, market fresh and easy cooking back to the people. Our chefs create inspiring and mouth-watering recipes every week.

Marley Spoon is currently operating in Australia, the US and Europe. We are currently looking for a Repack Supervisor to help us grow Marley Spoon.

Your role:

  • Manage the production schedule based on weekly production plan.
  • Oversee multiple pieces of automated equipment and hand repacking.
  • Manage Production Orders and movements in ERP system.
  • Responsible for planning of labor against workload.
  • Responsible for safe operation and cleaning of all equipment.
  • Monitor and improve machine uptime.
  • Motivate and coach teams and Repack-employees.
  • Communicate to management using slack, email and daily department meetings.
  • Communicate daily with other operational departments such as Warehouse, Inventory and Production.
  • Ensure the quality of the repacked items meet specifications and provide the best customer experience.
  • The repack shift runs from 7.00am to 4.00pm Monday through Friday with overtime available (availability on Saturdays can be discussable)

Requirements

  • A minimum of 1 years of experience working in a warehouse / manufacturing / food processing environment ideally with some machine operation experience.
  • A minimum of 1 years of supervisory experience.
  • Have flexibility in schedule that includes early mornings, weekends (Saturday and Sunday), and some holidays.
  • Comfortable and able to work overtime based on business needs.
  • Able to speak, write, read and interpret information in English.
  • Must be accurate and thorough while following policies and procedures.
  • Must be comfortable in a cold warehouse/production environment.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and mentor large teams of hourly associates, as well as work with management to hold associates accountable for attendance, productivity accuracy and completion of their work
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Strong accountability, consistency and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a wide array of fulfillment center personnel ranging from hourly employees to senior management
  • Able to work independently and use critical thinking to solve problems and find solutions as needed
