We are looking for a Renewals Specialist to join our Revenue Operations team within the Customer Success department. The Renewals Specialist will play a pivotal role in managing the renewal process for our invoiced customers, driving retention, and contributing to the overall growth of our organization. Your primary responsibilities will include full ownership of the renewal process for small invoiced customer segments, maintaining strong communication with customers on smaller plans regarding renewals and payments, and proactively identifying and addressing expansion opportunities and signs of churn. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the renewal process and communication for small invoiced customer segments.
  • Take ownership of dunning and receivables for invoiced customer segments to ensure prompt payments.
  • Communicate effectively via email and conference calls with customers regarding questions and issues related to their subscriptions, renewals, payments, and billing.
  • Monitor customer health, identify risks of churn or contraction, and provide strategic recommendations to enhance retention.
  • Identify and act on upsell opportunities, collaborating with sales and account management teams to drive revenue growth.
  • Work closely with the sales and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and foster strong relationships.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company’s products and services to address customer needs effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records in the company’s CRM system.
  • Negotiate and execute renewal contracts that align with company goals and customer needs.
  • Stay informed on market trends and the competitive landscape.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a renewals or customer success role.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, primarily Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
