The Role -
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Renewal Specialist to join our team. The Renewal Specialist will manage customer contract renewals, ensure a high retention rate, and drive growth through upselling and cross-selling opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of customer needs, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Key Responsibilities

Manage Renewal Pipeline: Oversee the contract renewal process from start to finish, ensuring timely renewals and minimising customer churn.

Customer Communication: Engage with customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions that align with their goals.

Upselling & Cross-selling: Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services during the renewal process.

Retention Strategy: Develop and implement strategies to increase customer retention and loyalty, including personalized outreach and customised renewal packages.

Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, customer success, and finance teams to ensure seamless contract renewals and accurate forecasting.

Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all renewal activities, customer interactions, and contract details in the CRM system.

Reporting: Provide regular reports on renewal performance, customer feedback, and retention metrics to management.

Customer Advocacy: Act as a customer advocate, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met throughout the renewal process.
Key Requirements

Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in SaaS, technology, or a related industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Skills:
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret customer data and feedback.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
