Renewals Specialist II – Role Overview

  • Location: Bangalore
  • Shift: 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM (supporting US & EMEA regions)

Rubrik is seeking an experienced Renewals Specialist to manage a portfolio of existing customer accounts across the US and EMEA regions. As the owner of these renewals, your primary goal will be to ensure timely, successful renewals and to drive incremental growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet quarterly renewal quotas and ACV plans.
  • Lead negotiations and secure incremental uplift on renewals.
  • Manage your renewal pipeline in CRM and review it periodically.
  • Conduct product usage and account reviews to identify risks and coordinate with internal teams (Sales, Support, Customer Success) to mitigate them.
  • Provide accurate renewal quotes to distributors 120 days prior to contract renewal.
  • Maintain a healthy forecast and update the CRM with renewal sentiments and opportunity stages.
  • Work closely with Account Executives on upgrade + renewal opportunities.
  • Consult with partners and customers to resolve challenges, leveraging the Account Manager and internal teams as needed.
  • Stay updated with product training, certifications, and company developments.
  • Conduct regular pipeline reviews and forecast meetings with distributors and partners.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in Renewals, Account Management, Sales, or Customer Success in SaaS.
  • Exposure to global customers, particularly in the US, EMEA, and APAC regions.
  • Experience in Cloud Data Management and Security.
  • Experience in the Channel/Partner ecosystem is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
  • A Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
  • Ability to balance a wide variety of tasks and adjust priorities in a fast-paced, multi-engagement environment.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
