Position Overview:
 
Our forward-thinking Bitcoin mining company is at the forefront of the cryptocurrency revolution. As part of our growth and expansion, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Operations Manager to oversee our unmanned mining sites and manage a small but dynamic team. This role is essential for maintaining the optimal operation of our mining facilities and ensuring the seamless collaboration between vendors and our internal teams.

The salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $70,000.

Key Responsibilities

  • Unmanned Site Management: Oversee and manage all aspects of our unmanned bitcoin mining sites, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively around the clock.
  • Team Leadership: Manage a small, dedicated team by organizing schedules, structuring the team, and setting clear, achievable goals. Your leadership will foster a cohesive and productive environment.
  • Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, ensuring the procurement of high-quality equipment and services. Coordinate effectively between vendors and internal teams to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Internal Collaboration: Act as a pivotal communication link between various internal teams, ensuring that all parties are aligned and working towards common goals. Your ability to facilitate collaboration will be key to our success.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively communicate and address any operational problems, working closely with relevant teams to find and implement solutions promptly.
  • Foresight and Planning: Anticipate potential future problems and develop strategic plans to mitigate risks. Your foresight will help us maintain uninterrupted operations.
  • Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of mining, networking, power distribution, and data center environments to oversee and improve our mining operations.
  • Process Development: Develop and implement robust processes and procedures to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Additional duties as required

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in managing operations, preferably in mining, data centers, or related fields.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams, including scheduling, organization, and goal-setting.
  • Excellent vendor management and internal team collaboration abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, capable of identifying and articulating problems to appropriate teams.
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to foresee potential issues and plan accordingly.
  • Deep understanding of mining, networking, power distribution, and data center operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational processes and procedures.
